At this time we are sad to announce that ADK Alert will no longer be providing civilian emergency alerts directly to customers. According to AT&T’s website (without warning its partners like ADK Alert) has discontinued its gateway. Verizon had rumored to be following suit in the next few months. Most other carriers have started delaying, deferring or just deleting most messages. We have no good options for free texting at this time as the technology migrates away from text messages.
Please find the current last 5 alerts on this page, or to go back use the adkalert.org/alert-archives/ page, or click on the calendar to see past alerts.
This does not affect any of our registered Fire and EMS personnel that receive our alerts from IamResponding. If you are an active Fire or EMS member see your radio officer or technology guru to get signed up with the IamResponding app for your agency. If you’re not in your local Fire or EMS departments, consider joining?
For over 10 years it has been our pleasure to help keep our Emergency Services personnel, volunteers, and community members safer by offering this free service. Our team is made up of about only 5 of us that do this at our personal expense. As I just mentioned, we will continue to feed our service to IamResponding, and the ADKAlert.org website also for free.
